Anoche se entregaron en Las Vegas (Nevada, EEUU) los premios de la Academy of Country Music, en el regreso de la música country a la ciudad tras el tiroteó de 2017. Precisamente el tiroteo se produjo durante la actuación de Jasón Aldean, que ayer ganó su tercer Entertainer of the Year consecutivo.
La gala fue presentada por Reba.
Los otros grandes triunfadores de la noche fueron con dos premios Chris Stapleton (vocalista masculino y disco), Miranda Lambert (Vocalista femenina y canción) y Brothers Osborne (dúo y vídeo). Una de las sorpresas fue el premio a mejor grupo para Old Dominion.

Si el viernes la CMA presentaba el tema Forever Country, anoche presentó su vídeo, y es simplemente espectacular…
… nunca antes se habían juntado 30 estrellas del Country en una misma canción, de diferentes épocas y estilos, de country clásico y nuevo country, todos unidos para celebrar el pasado, presente y futuro del country, y los 50 años de premios de su asociación la CMA. En una demostración de la vigencia del género, y la diversidad del mismo.
El vídeo está dirigido por el ganador de un Grammy Joseph Khan y la canción esta producida por Shane McAnally arreglada por de McAnally y Josh Osborne.
