Anoche se entregaron en Nashville los CMA Awards y en la categoría reina (Entertainer of the Year) ganó Garth Brooks, la séptima vez que lo hace. En un año donde los favoritos eran Eric Church y Carrie Underwood, dados los éxitos de ambos este año, y que hacia tiempo que una cantante no ganaba el premio, al final el vencedor fue Garth, que ha hecho una gira más pequeña que Eric, y cuya música ha tenido menor difusión, debido en parte a la política de distribución de Garth que excluye a las principales plataformas de streaming por su exclusividad con Amazon Music.

Por otro lado Luke Combs con dos premios volvió a dejar claro que viene para ser el Rey en los próximos años, también con dos Kacey redondeó su gran Año, y Maren Morris sorprendió con su Disco del Año al ganarlo al Gran favorito Eric Church.
